The United
Nations and multinational drug companies are attempting to
enact legislation in Europe to ban the sale of several popular
vitamins and herbs without first obtaining a prescription.
The U.S
(FDA) supports the legislation. According
to a political activist for nutritional supplements, Dr. Matthias
Rath suggested that the United Nations and the FDA are
supportive in multinational drug company efforts to strangle
vitamin sales in order to maximize drug industry profits.
Although the proposed legislation currently focuses
on Europe, it may only be a matter of time before it reaches
the U.S.
